Rose Plant Potting and Care Guidelines
Please follow the following guidelines without fail.
- Don’t use fertilized soil for initial potting
- Use soil and sand in 1:1 ratio or soil and Cocopeat in 2:1 Ratio for potting
- Don't use any fertilizers for potting
- Don’t remove the soil around the root portion
- Cut the buds and flowers before potting. This is good for new growth.
- Use a smaller container for potting ( 5 to 6 inch pot or cover as per the plant size), use of bigger size pot will cause over watering issues for plants and root rotting issues.
- Water the plant and keep in a well lit area(indirect bright light or Morning/Evening direct sunlight).
- Don't keep the plants indoors or a space without sunlight
- Move the rose plant to direct sunlight after 2 to 3 days
- When the plant shows new growth(After 3 to 4 weeks),you can repot them to bigger pots with enough fertilized soil, without disturbing the roots.
